ComedySportz Indianapolis, the city’s only Professional Improvisational Comedy Theatre, is presenting “Oz, Unscripted: An Adult Trip”. This hilarious weekly improvised show will be performed in their Friday Night Late slot, from Friday, May 21 through Friday, June 25. Doors will open at 9:30, at which time audience members will be asked to write down quotes, expressions, song lyrics, movie and T.V. dialogue and more onto small pieces of paper. The performers of ComedySportz will incorporate these into the story. Audience members will also have the opportunity to give additional suggestions throughout the performance. The show starts at 10:00pm and will last approximately 75-90 minutes. Tickets are only $12 and the show is for those 17 years and older.
ABOUT “OZ, UNSCRIPTED: AN ADULT TRIP”
Fans familiar with the performers of ComedySportz know that they weave your suggestions into the spectacle effortlessly, seamlessly, and hilariously. Though the key structure of the classic story will be maintained, comical changes will naturally occur. Perhaps Toto will be an iguana or an ocelot instead of a dog. Dorothy may be from Terre Haute or Fishers instead of Kansas. The infamous yellow brick road may be the orange path of enlightenment. You, the audience, will come up with the suggestions and the performers will make it part of the story.
