Presenting Fun Dumpster

Will Pfaffenberger introduces the first performance of Fun Dumpster on Friday, November 4, 2005.

There's a new game in town AFTER the early match on FRIDAY NIGHTS at The Comedy Sportz Arena, and it shall be henceforth referred to in perpetuity through November as FUN DUMPSTER. For the month of November, the long-form improv group known as FUN DUMPSTER will be performing THE HAROLD directly following the regular 7:30pm Comedy Sportz Match. The best part for you is: IT'S FREE!!!Fun Dumpster is a long-form improv group built of improvisers who are all normal Comedy Sportz Actletes who wanted to stretch their improv chops a bit. The show they will be doing is called, "The Harold," and it is referred to as a long form game because it takes about 30 minutes to perform. It is completely made up on the spot and based off of ONE SUGGESTION taken at the beginning. Fun Dumpster will take that suggestion and develop three themes, three stories, and by the end, hopefully it will become one, big, poignant, funny message. OR NOT. We'll all see how that goes...Either way, it'll be a site to see and a new improv flavor to bring to your dripping jowls in heightened anticipation for more meaty improv. That's supposed to mean that if you can't get enough of improv comedy, then The Harold is another style of improv comedy that you might enjoy.
