Championship Show Schedule
A Showcase of Over 20 Cities! July 20th – July 23rd
For the first time ever, Indianapolis plays host to nearly 300 comedic improvisers from over 20 cities in the U.S., and even as far as Manchester, UK, and Berlin, Germany, as the city welcomes the 2011 ComedySportz World Tournament. This popular comedy show is improv comedy, performed as a sport.
Each night, teams will compete for laughs and a good time, culminating in a championship match (for the “meaningless cup”) on Saturday night, July 23rd. Fun for all ages, see why ComedySportz is one of the most popular and longest running comedy shows on the planet and here inthe Circle City for 18 years.
The matches will take place at the Athanaeum Theater, a historic venue in downtown Indianapolis. Each show will feature a showcase of teams from four cities (except the Championship Match only two teams) and food and drinks will be available throughout the show. Discounts are available for multiple shows. Don’t miss this one-time comedy event!
